We started having charging issues with our van while exploring the Black Hills. Eric quickly identified the problem and installed a new alternator. Thanks to his fast work, we were back on the road and able to continue our trip. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal service! My check engine light went on suddenly this morning and they were very swift and professional, explained the problem to me in detail so I understood everything, and got me back on the road in under an hour (even though they were having an incredibly busy day). The waiting area was comfortable and had pretty good complimentary coffee. I'm just passing through, but if I lived here I would be a regular customer! Thank you Eric and team!

We were on a road trip from Nebraska when my car started breaking down. We went to 2 other mechanics first and this was the only place that was able to help within a day and it was a super reasonable price! Eric was very knowledgeable and ended up helping us a ton!

Eric and his staff were highly recommended by a staff member of Custer State Park when I encountered a problem with my Chevy Tahoe at the campground. I made it to the garage and in all my years of driving I have never had such excellent service..Eric correctly diagnosed the problem and ordered the needed parts..Repairs were completed the next day and the problem was solved..Although they were very busy they took the time to diagnose and repair..Problem was solved ! Although I was a tourist i received first class service which many times is not the case.. I have to say that after 70+ years of driving Erik and his men are tops in my book !

We were in town from Canada when we had wheel problems on our truck. After a horrible experience at a nearby service station that almost cost us 2 days of our vacation and thousands of dollars, we happened to call Smyth Automotive for a 2nd opinion. The lovely receptionist said to pop in whenever we could and she would have a mechanic take a quick look. Turns out it was nothing that the first shop said it was and Smyth Automotive quickly got the part and installed it for us. We could not have asked for better service. Only cost us a couple hours of a great vacation, which was well worth it to feel safe on our long trip home.  This is newer shop in town and given their prices and excellent service,  I have no doubt they will do wonderfully! I highly recommend Smyth and would not hesitate to
