Got a driver that had these "professionals" rebuild a transmission spending nearly 4 thousand dollars and it didn't even make it a month!!! When the transmission was returned these thieves said it was going to cost another 1500 bucks! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PEOPLE!!! Should have taken it to overdrive rebuilds in concord! Them are good folks and feel certain they know what they are doing !!

If I could leave no stars I would my father in law had his transmission rebuilt and it tore up less than 2 months later and instead or honoring their warranty they claim “the transmission took a hard hit” and wanted to charge him over 1,000 to repair said transmission…if you aren’t willing to own up to your warranty don’t offer one! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone period

HORRIBLE! Purchased a transmission and returned mine for my core refund. They kept some of the core money, claiming there was a crack on the Transmission. Explained to them, it stated nowhere on my invoice having a crack on the TRANSMISSION would result in keeping part of the core charge. They received all of the parts of the TRANSMISSION intact. Never again will I do business from DISHONEST companies such as this.

Replaced transmission in may and had to take it back three times already. Each time, they claimed the issues were not covered under my warranty and blamed my drivers. Would not recommend Southern Powertrain to anyone. Very disappointed.
