Southern Pride Carwash

I can’t get a response from the number listed despite three calls in a week. I’ve been a faithful customer for years. I visited on Sunday Jan. 4 but the machine I used to vacuum didn’t have any suction. Switched machines but the debit card reader didn’t work. I got change and this second machine ate my quarters. I would like a response and refund please

Attempted to go through the automated car wash but after paying it malfunctioned and my wash wouldn’t initiate. Tried hitting the “help” button but it did nothing. Called the phone number and left a message hoping for a refund but no one ever called back.

This carwash was my go to place to clean my cars. It is now completely run down. Most of the stalls are closed and the couple that are open have no pressure. I was recently there. Swiped my card, the timer started but no water. I moved to a different stall and again swiped my card and water gushed out from the assembly at the top, getting me soaking wet. I hate having to submit this review, but at his point customers are being ripped off. This place needs to be shut down!

Put money in and no water ever came out. Folks in other stall pressure was so low he couldn’t wash the soap off of his vehicle. He told us over half of the equipment wasn’t working. Just wanted to rinse vehicle but wasn’t able. First stall pulled into had tape across machine. Another was full of trash someone left. Left message on the number website has listed but the message you receive doesn’t say Southern Pride. So who really knows if they got our call. Disappointing to see how much it has gone down.

If I could give this place a ZERO STAR rating I certainly would. Ownership has neglected this place to the point that many of the bays are closed due to broken or malfunctioning equipment. I lost $3.00 there today after swiping my card and selecting “HIGH PRESSURE SOAP” only to squeeze the trigger and there was no pressure and no soap. Same with RINSE. The foaming brush did work but I wonder how one would rinse the soap off with no water pressure. What a ripoff! I wish someone with a lick of business acumen and some industry experience would purchase this business from the current owner. With the proper upgrades and renovations this could be a very profitable business because there is a need for a car wash on the North end of town.
