Speeders Car Wash

This was my first visit to Speeders, Norwalk. Jonathan convinced me a membership was worth another look so I'll be back. The wash was just what the car needed during these winter months. Value? Speeders isn't the most economical choice in the area but the people working there make sure you have what you need to come out shining. White glove service may be prefered but they do make sure you have what you need to self serve the car interior. I'd prefer the former snack shop at Freds but the Speeders Mat Wash station is a plus.

Gregory was amazing! I had a great experience at this car wash thanks to Gregory. He greeted me right away, explained the options clearly, and took his time to make sure my car was thoroughly cleaned inside and out. It’s rare to see that level of care and customer service these days. I left with a spotless car and a great impression. Keep up the excellent work, Gregory!

Passed by with already a bad relationships with previous car washes, there was a kid there named Joseph, very professional and genuine (Not pushy). He explained the different plans, and even the current offer they had, showing me it was actually cheaper than their usual cheapest one. I ended up getting the reflection plan and will most likely keep it just because of him. You guys have a great salesman, thank you speeders!

I was a loyal customer of Fred's Car Wash at their Westport, CT location for at least 10 years. I was quite happy with their pricing, quality of the car wash, and the friendliness of Fred's staff. All of that changed with the take-over by Speeder's. My monthly membership cost increased by $20 for the same level of wash. The wash itself wasn't as good -- now, they do not towel-off the car at the end of the wash so you drive away with a semi-dry vehicle. And their staff is a bunch of hustlers -- more interested in selling than servicing. Very aggressive about that as well. I am really disappointed in this facility and the new ownership. I would encourage anyone thinking about using Speeder's (particularly at their Westport, CT location) to reconsider and find another provider.

On my phone I accepted their invitation to generate a coupon for a free car wash at their Westport Avenue, Norwalk location. The attendant rejected my coupon, saying that it had already been used. I told her that I had just generated the coupon before turning into their driveway, but "I can't help you." I had to turn the car around in a tight area. I wrote to the company, which answered on my third try: no help offered; just a veiled reference that the problem is my fault. --- We haven’t had any issues with redeeming our free car washes. If someone uses your information to redeem a free wash, the system would prevent it from being used again. Unfortunately, we cannot override the system, as it resets every six months. I recommend speaking with the General Manager at this location to s
