Speedy Car Sales is an exception and Mohamed stands out amongst all my car buying experiences over the years. Calling from DC to buy a used one owner higher mileage performance car in Philly, there were many ways that transaction could have gone sideways. Multiple phone calls to find time in both our schedules led to a lengthy test drive with Mohamed followed by a quick look on the lift at his mechanic next door, then respectful negotiations, which included trading in my older sport sedan. The catch was I required a Mercedes dealership full vehicle inspection on the car at my cost but his time to drop off and pick up. Pros: The dealer allowed a long test drive and promptly addressed the concerns I raised during it. Since this is my secondary vehicle, my main focus was on ensuring the engine and transmission were in good condition. The dealer was honest and took care of those issues as promised. The pricing also felt fair and reasonable. Cons: The dealership doesn’t allow taking the car to an independent shop for inspection — you have to bring your own mechanic on-site.
