I would just like to rave about my experience with Spencers Chandler location. From walking in the door to explaining the whole process and the thoroughness of that team is top tier. Christine was a pleasure to work with and definitely brightens up the shop. A great big smile and positive attitude greeted us as we entered. The professionalism and experience we received from this team is greatly appreciated. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle. This review is for Spencer located in Chandler with Christine as the store manager. I went to the Mesa location last month for an oil change when I found out my control arms needed replacement soon. Since the Chandler location is closer to my house, I decided to go to the Chandler location. When booking the appointment online, I requested very specifically “control arms replacement & wheel alignment” in the comment section for “Anything else we need to know about your car”. I even received the confirmation text for my appointment. However, when I showed up for my appointment, Christine could not find my appointment and thought it could be some issues with the online booking. No problems. I made an appointment to get an alignment on my car. I was told the service would take about an hour when I booked. When I dropped off the car for the appointment I told the Christine, the service manager, that I'd be waiting and she confirmed "about an hour." I was not told that the tech would spend an hour doing a vehicle inspection that I had no interest in. When I returned after an hour, the shop hadn't even started the alignment. The manager said "the alignment takes less time than the inspection (!) and should only take another 20-30 minutes. 2.5 hours after my appointment my car was finally ready. They did offer a slight discount on the service. I don't care about discounts. I want to hire people that'll do what they say they'll do in the time they commit to. A few bucks off is not

Looks like I found our new auto repair shop. I typically take my Kia Soul back to the dealership for routine oil change, but my last experience at Horne in Gilbert was not a good one. I started looking online for shops in my area and Spencer's Auto Repair has a lot of great reviews. They are very friendly and prices are reasonable and I especially like their hours and location, close to home. They also gave my husband a quote to do some work on our Ram truck, which will be scheduling soon.
