I couldn't be more unhappy with my purchase. I spent a little over $3,000.00 on this kit and the pictures show how one of the calipers arrived. They come with a black plug in the tap, so I didn't notice it when I installed it, and it was the last one on the truck, so I assumed that it would've been fine. I fought with it for about a half hour before I pulled it and looked at it on the bench and that's when I noticed this. I was stumped when I couldn't get a thread to catch when I was installing the banjo fitting along with crush washers but if I removed them and just installed the bolt it would tighten down. I sent pictures and talked to Chris about it, and I could tell that he was trying to put this on me, but I was still hopeful that maybe they would see it when it got there and do the r

Ordered a front disc brake conversion kit. Complete kit. Parts sat on my shelf for a couple years while stockpiling suspension and other pieces of the puzzle. Went to put together this week and they sent me the completely wrong calipers that don’t go with the rest of the kit. Called them, and since it’s been more than a few weeks, they want me to pay for shipping to receive the correct calipers as well as to ship the incorrect ones back to them along with paying for the replacement calipers I paid for the first go around. Meanwhile I have calipers sitting here that are useless. Clearly if the correct parts would have been sent we wouldn’t have an issue, but since the parts have been sitting new in box, apparently it’s not their issue anymore. Spend your money wisely.

SSBC brakes have been problematic since installation. Front left caliper was binding. Was stuck without a truck for two weeks while waiting for SSBC to rebuild the caliper SINCE THEY REFUSED TO SEND A NEW ONE. Now a few thousand miles later, front left caliper has completely failed, and front-right is going with it. Both front rotors require replacement already. Issue is binding pistons in calipers - something that is apparently not uncommon with these SSBC brakes. Currently awaiting a solution from SSBC for this second issue after the first situation was handled with a mediocre solution that has now failed again.
