Stanley's Garage

I needed to have my Jeep towed and my roadside service called in the middle of the night to cancel my service that was scheduled because they couldn’t find a tow for me. My husband and I called several other places and they couldn’t do it. My husband called Stanley’s and they thankfully agreed to do it. Service was great , I will definitely keep them in mind next time I need assistance.

My boyfriend and I were at the Hickory Run rest stop, and we were having car troubles. We saw a tow truck from this company at the stop getting gas, so we asked him for help/if he had tools that could help. He was super friendly and was able to help us super quick! We couldn’t get the oil cap off, and he was able to do it for us. He wouldn’t accept a tip or anything! Thank you so much! Awesome and friendly service, we appreciate it greatly!

New to the area, I didn't know where to go to get my car serviced. The chain places were super expensive and didn't explain what they were doing and or why it needed to be done. This place came highly recommended from locals. The guy who owns it is super friendly and will explain everything to you - he calls before he begins the work and gives an estimate. When I was looking for new tires, he recommended the same ones he put on his girlfriend's car, and they were less expensive than the name brand (and lasted just as long). I worked near the garage for a few years and he would pick me up and bring me to the shop so I didn't need to call a friend. I would recommend him to anyone who was looking for a genuine mechanic.

Driving from Georgia back to Ontario, I suddenly had NO brakes coming through the mountains. I was able to safely downshift and get off the highway into the parking lot of Stanley's Garage. A guy came out and I explained my situation and his was reply was "Sorry, I can't help you." And he turned around and went back inside. Didn't even offer to have a quick look. I am a female who was travelling alone. I get that he may have been busy after calling 2 other local shops recommended by AAA/CAA. But at least they offered an explanation of why they couldn't help and when they would be able too (they were booked solid). He may have been as well, but a little compassion would have gone a long way! Towed it to Pep Boys and they got me back on my way - turns out a caliper had lost its bolts!

My girlfriend's car broke down late at night. AAA was no help and only towed it to my friends house. In the morning we were stuck for what to do and called this garage. Fantastic decision. He came right out, was very professional and let us know exactly what was going on. When we called and asked when we could come get the vehicle, he asked how soon we could get there even though he was closed. Top notch service would highly recommend.
