Tire service. Last spring I got a new (used) motorhome RV and had to get a long valve stem on the inside dulie tire. Stanwood Car Care, diagnosed, ordered and installed the special part. Then we went on a 7 week trip around Alaska and back. This February, I had an issue with the tire, took it back to SCC and they removed both tires, cleaned & tightened up the valve stem, replaced the tires. "You had that done here, right? I'm not going to charge you for that". Professional service, it's not cheap, but neither is a flat tire in TimBucToo. Very happy to recommend this local business.

Worked with Jade, who is a wonderful service coordinator. My 2017 Elantra was throwing a P0117 code and I went as far down the troubleshooting path as I could. The entire top half of the engine was being deprived of oil, damaging cam shafts and other critical parts, and throwing the engine’s timing off. Also, a low beam headlight was not working. The staff worked quickly to do a complete inspection of the car to find other issues that, while they aren’t critical, are good to know so I can get them fixed. I really liked that service. Then, based on that assessment, they made recommendations and asked for repair approvals using an easy-to-use online form. The form was broken out into blocks of systems and types of work, which made it clear what was needed. Then, they got busy making repairs.

This is my first experience with Stanwood Car Care and I am very pleased. They did the work expected at the price they estimated. Personable, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! We are transplants from the east coast and had a local car care center there that we took our cars to for 30 years. Would love for this to be our new family car service center.

The team at Stanwood Car Care are top notch in their knowledge of car repair and in their recommendations of what's needed. Their honest assessments of the situation is something your rarely see with auto mechanics. I've already recommended them to others and will continue to take both my cars there.

Had the check engine light flickering on the dash in need of diagnostics and some burned-out bulbs replacements. Dropped off the car and they stated they'd have a callback for me by end of the day, but no call came. Next day they texted me the work order link with no call, which was a little cold in delivery but I could read their notes just fine; A callback would have been better to discuss over, since I had to call them anyway to confirm. They got the work done that day but they missed a bulb that was clearly on the order sheet. My car runs great since, so I'm happy with the work -- however do make sure that you check things before you drive off, just to ensure nothing gets missed on accident.
