To be honest, I don’t understand how this shop has such a high rating. This place might be acceptable only if you already know a lot about cars and come in with a very specific issue, because they consistently try to upsell services. And in my experience, even misrepresent facts to push unnecessary work. During a previous inspection, they told me there was definite evidence of rodent damage in my car and claimed my brake fluid was at 4%. Concerned, I took my car to another shop I trust. That shop found no evidence of rodents at all, and confirmed the brake fluid level was around 2.5%, nowhere near what I was told. Even more troubling, the “evidence” photos used by this shop were not of my car, but of a different vehicle. At first, I was willing to believe this might have been carelessness.
