The check engine light came on and I thought the worst. I’m used to shops telling me it’ll be hundreds before even explaining the problem. He came to the driveway, scanned it, and told me exactly what the code meant. Turned out to be a small fix he handled right there in under an hour. Light’s gone and I didn’t feel taken advantage of.

I thought the whole “mobile mechanic” thing would be sketchy or DIY vibes but this was a super legit operation. Van was fully equipped, guy had gloves, scanner, everything. Felt way more pro than half the shops I’ve been to.
