Very professional staff, always clean and tidy, lots of activities, parties and outing. This is a great place where you can retire or have a parent stay if they are having loss of memory. This is a very inviting place for your loved one.

My father lived at Sunrise at North Hills for 3 years. During his journey through struggling with dementia, the staff was always very loving and kind to my dad. He was well cared for and I never had to worry about him. The staff was responsive if I ever called and needed anything. They gave me peace of mind knowing that my father who no longer could care for himself was being treated with kindness and dignity during the last few years of his life. It helped enrich our relationship taking some of the stress of caretaking off of my plate, so that I could just focus on spending time with my sweet dad. I'm forever grateful to Sunrise at North Hills.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! And we didn’t even get as far as moving my father in to the facility Sunrise at North Hills. The conflicting information I was receiving from the marketing team(Grant & Alex) regarding quoted pricing, insurance filing and when charges would begin created so many “red flags” prior to move in day. Then finding out that they would begin charging my Dad the room rate of $156/day a week prior to the agreed upon move in date (when the fact is they couldn’t even tell us when the room would be ready, only saying it would be ready “soon” because the carpet still needed to be removed and replaced). So from the time we did the initial tour of the facility and saw the room for the first time when it still had the dirty and stained carpeting Sunrise wanted to begin charging my D

After looking at several different memory care facilities, I decided on Sunrise North Hills. It was a great decision. Everyone (management, staff, kitchen, cleaning, maintenance and activity workers included) shows care, comfort and kindness to my father and our family. Sunrise North Hills has become like a family to us. Activity directors, management and staff work really hard to keep the residents involved and active while always coming up with new projects, activities and many special occasion holiday events. Communication from management and staff is excellent and very much appreciated. You have many caring people and should be so proud of that at Sunrise North Hills. We are so grateful to all for the care my father is receiving.

My feedback is specific to our experience in Memory Care for both of my parents, admitted to Sunrise North Hills in May 2019. However, this information may still be relevant if you are considering Assisted Living as Memory Care could be required for your family member in the future and moving to a new facility is something you will want to avoid if possible. After a thorough review of available Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area, Sunrise North Hills was our second choice. Our top criteria were, #1 quality of patient care, #2 proximity to their family members and church, #3 clean, bright facility, and #4 cost. When an unexpected medical condition required full time professional care for my father, our first choice did not have a room available. W
