Super Cheap Car Rental

Picked us up from the airport. Car was great and the price point won’t be beaten. A small company with a not so flashy office but don’t let that put you off a great deal. Will be using again next time I visit.

Although the name of this car company isn't immediately confidence-inspiring, I gotta say I was pretty impressed! By far the best value option for car rentals at SFO, Super Cheap Car Rentals really provided excellent service and value. I was picked up at the airport within minutes of arrival and was on the road within about 15 minutes thereafter. The vehicle itself was a Ford Fiesta that looked like it had seen some better days, but really what can you expect for $40 USD/day. Filling up the gas tank at San Francisco prices was almost more expensive! Everything seemed to work as it was supposed to, although there was no remote control to unlock/lock the car, and deciphering the audio control panel took a bit of work (though this is a Ford issue and not a problem with the car rental com

TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE I would give a NEGATIVE 5 star review if I could. I don't recommend this place! You get what you pay for. SUPER CHEAP CARS. UNRELIABLE. BREAKS DOWN! We ALMOST DIED because of their poorly maintained car. Its a small company, so there isn't much help when the car breaks down too. Pay a few more dollars for peace of mind ... rather than make you do most of the work and leave you traumatized! WHY WRITE A REVIEW? Why would you go with a big nameless car rental agency when you could hire a bespoke one? Save some money, and enjoy the more personal experience of being picked up outside baggage claim and then given the owner Steve's direct phone number for communicating any issues that might come up. Drive a car that has proven its durability and doesn't smell like new chemical upholstery. Blend into your surroundings in a lightly used vehicle that doesn't scream tourist. Finally that car rental experience that one was always wishing for its existence.

Hands down best car rental experience I’ve had. Before booking I had a few questions and Steve answered the phone personally to help me out. On the day of the rental he picked me up at the train station nearby and drove me to his office. The rental car was a Nissan Micra, lots of pep and tons of fun driving down the PCH. Between the personal touch, unbeatable rates and great car I couldn’t have had a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to drive in and around SF.
