Tams Auto Repair

Called him not even 20 minutes ago. He's got my car lifted and already switching out my brakes and rotors. I told him I can pick up another day, I have to be at work in a few hours and he said no problem, I'll be done in one hour. One hour 😲 Amazingly fast, he quoted me next to nothing and is very friendly. I'm in a really tight spot right now financially, so to hear that was so relieving. You can tell he's got a bit of a quirky attitude, but in a good way. All the other shops around town wouldn't take my car in until Monday because it's the weekend and I'd have to wait for parts. He already has them. I would of been ubering around town for half a week with my kids, and I barely have the money for the repair right as it is with the holidays. I'm super glad I called him. I will use him no

Not very honest. Went in with a cylinder misfire. Stated I changed the spark plugs and coils and that didn’t fix it. He changed the plug and coil in the dead cylinder and nothing else. Of course the engine code didn’t go away. Took it back and asked if he looked at the fuel injectors. He said yes and that they were fine. Took my car to a different mechanic and was told the fuel injector in the dead cylinder was bad. Charged me $220 for 1 spark plug and 1 coil. He was very nice and did take my car in right away, but not happy about being lied to
