Taney Service Center

It's a very good thing this place is closing. I sent two street rods to them, one for an HEI distributor install and a timing correction and the other for the top end of the engine to be rebuilt. I explained that the parts were in the bed for the rebuild and needed brought inside but for some reason the shop owner left the intake, cylinder heads (freshly ported with aftermarket parts added on) exhaust, harmonic balancer in there. Needless to say they are ruined and unusable. The shop also left the engine open ruining the bottom end as well. My distributor install was put on hold while the shop chased an oil pressure issue that wasn't there and after paying them $1000 cash total and checking in periodically I was given the run around and they finally bought the distributor but refused to in

At first I thought they were a good shop but I gave them the part they changed it and by the next day the same situation the brake line rubbed and I lost brakes with kids in the truck. They first tried to say someone cut it then it was the wrong hose so they charged me for another hose and labor all over again. They saw the hose was to long and put it on anyway. I left my number and told them don't touch the vehicle without my permission they proceeded to call my bf and not me this whole thing cost me almost $400 if they would've called I would've said no to the last charges of over $200. I called them and the owner was completely in the wrong and treated me like trash I'll make sure none of my family and friends ever go to this shop. Automotive Technician Bob was knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly. Let me know the about the problem, ordered the part that would be needed for him to repair and keep my vehicle in good running condition. Great Automotive Repair Shop, Reasonable Rates.

At the end of our vacation, we ran into car trouble. I called Tawney Service Center and spoke with Erich, who welcomed us to bring it in. When we arrived, Faith and technician Bob greeted us. Bob quickly got the vehicle on the lift, diagnosed the issue, and let us know it was still safe to drive—but believed it could be a quick fix if the part arrived in time. Despite being just a few hours from closing, Faith tracked down the part, and within 45 minutes it was delivered and installed. Their promptness, professionalism, and excellent communication were second to none. I wish we lived closer—this would be our go-to shop. We were truly blessed to have found them and highly recommend Tawney Service Center for any car repair needs.

Eric services all our vehicles. I've always been very impressed with his customer service, he's honest and discusses items in terms of importance so you never feel pressured into pricey repairs that aren't necessary. The shop always feels welcoming. This shop has a customer for as long as they're willing to have us. Give these guys a chance, I promise you won't be disappointed!!
