I had such a negative experience here. I was appointed to a sales person and within a few minutes I was switched to another sales person Justin. Justin was not knowledgeable about the car and kept selling me on a Jetta SE as opposed to what I wanted Jetta SEL premium. When we sat to discuss prices, his whole demeanor changed and he kept asking unnecessary personal questions as to how I am funding my way back home and so forth. Kept saying he has to run my credit to show me prices. Refused to show me and assist with weighing out the prices. Additionally rudely asking me what my goal was in making a visit to their shop; Rookie move. Not a good seller, wouldn’t recommend. Yahaira Hernandez sold me my car and I’m really happy with it. Her customer service didn’t feel forced and she answered all of my questions as best as she could. She helped me deal with my car insurance when they weren’t being helpful and got me the results I needed, so her customer service was really awesome and appreciated! The manager was also really cool and accommodating (Pete). About the car: all in all I had a good experience with the dealership - although I noticed my car had a bit of an ant problem once I got off the lot. It’s a bummer but Raid spray came today the rescue and so did a thorough car wash. My interest rate was higher than I was first told but I’ll be re-financing so it isn’t a big loss; the car and the price the dealership offered is worth it.
from the minute i walked in the door i felt like family. the best dealership experience i have ever had. Douglass Lee did everything to keep my family happy during our decision making process for a new car for my wife. I am so happy to be able to have gotten to do business with such great people. Everything went so smooth, I could not even begin to express my gratitude now that I know my family is being driven around in the safest car in the road. I want to thank Douglass Lee and Teddy Volkswagen for giving me such a great experience. I cannot wait to get my next car!
I usually do not take the time to write reviews on google, but this needs to be shared. Truly, this experience was a nightmare. I called to have my car checked out and asked if they could do the recall I received an email about. I dropped my car off at 7:30 and received a call at 11 from the sales department stating that someone was in the shop and interested in purchasing my car! I then received a call from the service department where someone told me to think about selling it because I need a new engine. When I arrived at Teddy, they sent me to sales where someone met with me and tried to convince me to purchase a new car! When I asked about the recall, she stated there was none for my car. When I stated I received an email about it, her response was “ohh I missed it” I was charged $180
I've been driving Volkswagen for over thirty years now and lives not too far from this dealership. I refuse to do business with the because of how unprofessional and rude most of the staff can be. I had to bring me 2022 Tiguan in for an issue wit the steering wheel control. I was told that the part would be ordered and someone would be in touch. Weeks went by and no call. When I did call to inquire, the staff in "Service" would pick the phone up and hang up without taking the call. I had to go through sales and have someone transfer my call to service in order to get info on what's going on. Save yourself the headache and frustration, go to White Plains or Danbury. Just as a sidenote, I had a Nissan Rogue and experienced the same problem with their Nissan branch, very dismissive.
