Tesla Collision Lenexa

The tailgate was replaced due to a rear-end collision. After 3weeks I pick it up on August 20th. And on August 21, I had the tailgate adjusted, but the gap on the right side where the tailgate opens and closes is still too wide, causing loud wind noise from the rear at high speeds. It appears that the assembly itself was done incorrectly. In addition, I also found paint defects. The right side also does not align with the roof glass in height. Is a gap of nearly 9 mm considered normal? A gap wide enough for a finger to fit in does not seem normal. I really don’t think it is acceptable to receive the repair in this condition. The technician in charge said it cannot be adjusted. Please do not get your repair done here.

From the technician to the front desk to the manager, a class act, extremely well run, and a pleasure to work with. I had an issue with a repair, they took care it and took responsibility, when they probably could’ve gotten out of it. Excellent customer service and integrity, it makes me want to never own anything else but a Tesla.
