The Community at Sunset Wood

The staff and residents at Sunset Wood welcomed my Dad and made him feel so comfortable! It feels like we are all family. Such an incredible group to work with. The place is beautiful and there is a ton for him to do if he is feeling social. Its also super quiet if hes feeling like he wants time to himself. They were there right when we needed them and I cannot think of anything that would make this a better place!

My sisters and brother all share gratitude for the wonderful folks at Sunset Wood who take care of our parents, Bob and Jeanne, as we are all so far away and the last year of Covid made that even further away. The concern that they took with the quarantine regulations made us feel very confident that they had our parents best interests at heart. As Dominick has said before, they treat everyone like family. We can attest to that! My folks are very glad they made the move to this excellent place.

The Community at Sunset Wood is just a wonderful place for seniors. The staff is very caring and helpful and there are so many things for residents to do. It's been the best move for my mom. She plays bridge, scrabble, and attends exercise classes all the time. She's made many new friends that feel more like family. It's the best!

I can’t praise this community enough. My parents had lived here for years. My Mom is gone but my Dad is enjoying life. I do know if they had stayed where they lived before ,they would not have enjoyed their golden years as much. My Mom no longer had to cook, beautiful dining room with waters and waitresses. They made new friends, have activities, it’s just a great place.

Friendly, safe atmosphere. Incredible meals prepared fresh everyday. The activities are fun and interactive for all. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a safe independent living right in the heart of New Hartford.
