The Elmwood

Elmwood is a very well kept modern apartment and one of the best part of living there is the manager, Chip is the best manager. He is responsive to any issue, but there are few. The building has monthly gatherings with food and things of interest. We are really glad to be at The Elmwood, but it is even better with Chip.

My husband and I moved into the Elmwood 2 years ago. We immediately knew we had made the right choice. Management is attentive to our needs, pleasant personally and very well organized. We have found that the maintenance staff is quick to respond with a friendly demeanor. The entire property is always neat and clean. Our community is friendly, funny and creative. Mocha is well adjusted with many friends and happy here as well.

Marie has already posted how very happy we are living at Elmwood. Moving into the city from Grand Marais MN, gave us some pause. Moving here was simple and comforting. Residents were welcoming right from day one. Chip and Missy have gone above and beyond to make Elmwood a great community. The facility is always neat and clean. Our maintenance men respond quickly to our requests, happy to be of service. Many activities keep us engaged with other and almost always laughing. We are very happy in our apartment.

My husband and I relocated from New York after retirement because we wanted to be closer to our family so we sold our home and moved. One of our main consideration was to have an active, welcoming community that would allow us to stay engaged with others. We found just what we were looking for at The Elmwood. My husband uses the fitness center every day and we attend the community activities as often as possible. Our apartment is lovely and easy to care for and if we need anything done our maintenance folks are wonderful. The building manager, Chip Locy, is friendly, professional , and hosts fun, engaging activities. He goes above and beyond to ensure our Elmwood family is safe, engaged, and happy.

Chip our manager is outstanding. He cares about all of his residents. He takes the time and has always been there for me. The other staff does an amazing job. Chip plans very exciting events for all of us. I feel I have another family here at the Elwood Apartments. I LOVE The Elmwood!!!! Chip is the best!!!
