The Gear Box

I took my truck to the Gear Box for the transmission when it started to not engage and slipping. It needed a complete rebuild which was completed and I can say that I got excellent service. I received an estimate and that was what I paid. Take your transmission problems to The Gear Box, local business and owners. Just be patient as with any good service provider they get busy.

Would highly recommend them especially if you have a 2018 or similar F150 with the 10 speed transmission that starts to shudder or hard shifts. They replaced the valve body when the truck was at 170,000 miles and everything has been good for the 70,000 miles since. It was a lot easier go to Gearbox then deal with the dealerships who half the time do not even know what their doing or there are more issues afterward. They recently just fixed a leak on my front differential and that was painless also even with it happening during the Holidays.

Sean one of The technicians there is a great guy very understanding. They have another technician by the name of Chris, who is very rude and very dismissive and refused to work on my car after I couldn’t get in touch with the shop for months on in Sean and his wife are lovely people and are very communicative. This person Chris, who just recently called me is disgusting. And very dismissive…… you can claim Sean retired over two years ago but you can’t change the fact that I’ve already talked to him and secondly, after he test drove my car I spoke to Sean and he also explained to me that he felt and heard the same noises that we talked about when I inquired about getting my car repaired there after he did the test drive even though I was in Las Vegas for my birthday I asked him does he wan

A trusted friend recommended Mr Sean and his shop to us years ago, so when our truck's transmission broke down just recently, we took it there right away. They did a great job explaining and repairing 2 major problems for a nice price. They kept us updated on their progress and fixed it in good time. The Gear Box staff was kind and courteous, too. Needed a Axel rebuilt. Other shops acted like it was end of world. They were Timely, transparent, and helpful.
