The Shop @ 160 an Auto Care Center

The man I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and condescending. I inquired about why the quoted price was $475 and he went on a long lecture and rant. I simply was asking about the price of labor vs part cost. I am unsure if it was because I am a woman, or if he’s just a rude gremlin all the time. I have never been treated this way as a prospective customer by a mechanic in my entire life. I will never take my car here, and will never recommend anyone to go here.

I believe it's time for a more current and up to date review of The Shop @ 160..... January 2026 I will NEVER return to this shop nor will I EVER refer anyone to bring their vehicle here!!! A botched brake job, a rude manager who is condensending towards women, attempts to belittle women with his words, actions and threats. I was asking questions trying to get some insight into what went wrong and what type pads and rotors were used. Apparently he took the questions as being offensive. I found him to be domineering, arrogant, cocky and a million other words that could describe this man. NO woman ever should be talked to the way he talked to me. If you are a woman or man, please be leary of taking your vehicle to the shop @ 160.

hhmm just read the recent 1 star .. was surprised to see this as , ,,, I on the other hand , had an experience that brought a HUGE amount of RELIEF after a bad experience w/ a local dealer service center 😏.. … thank u Mark!!!!!! for offering reassurance, guidance !!! and simple solutions!!! .. I truly needed support and u were there !! ( ps will be back with the LUG NUTS for my caps soooon! 🤓)

Five stars isn’t enough for this place! In less than a few hours they had determined what was wrong with my Volvo (computer problem, not mechanical) and referred me to a Volvo dealership where they would have the equipment necessary. The gentleman I spoke to was pleasant, accommodating, honest and knowledgeable. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely go back for maintenance and any other problem. Thanks so much! Jill

My wife and I just moved to the area recently. We don’t know any mechanics in the area and after a quick Google search we stumbled upon The Shop @ 160. Mark and the team were very professional and efficient! Thank you guys so much and we will definitely be returning for any future repair needs!
