The Summit of Edgewood

As a nurse who has worked in Senior Living for 17 years, I don’t give praise lightly, and The Summit of Edgewood truly deserves it. The level of care, professionalism, and compassion shown to residents is exceptional. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in each resident’s well-being—not just clinically, but emotionally too. Communication is clear and respectful, and the facility is clean, welcoming, and well-run. Teamwork and dignity are priorities here. I would feel confident recommending The Summit of Edgewood to families looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated with skill, respect, and kindness.

We had to move my mother to The Summit of Edgewood in the spring of 2025 so she has lived there 8 months now. She has dementia and we were told that it wasn't safe for her to live alone. The security of the building is excellent. The staff and everyone I have met are friendly, caring and respectful. From the front desk and maintenance personnel to the nurses and caregivers, they check on her frequently and take care of her meds and anything else she needs. And equally important for me, they communicate with me often so I am aware of everything that is going on. I can say, without hesitation, that everyone I have met at the Summit has been a dedicated professional and seem to truly care about all the residents there. If anyone is in need of such a facility I recommend this one.

Hi is there a reason you won’t fence in the rest of your pond a fix the gaps to help keep your own patients at risk of eloping an the children at Hopebridge safe from the water? You have gaps in ur fencing on your side with the big pond a a smaller body of water with no fence at all! Use to be a partial fence around the parking lot area of that small body of water it’s gone now why?! Drowning is the #1 leading accidental cause of death with autism an eloping not to mention this is a huge liability risk!

This community is filled with love! Amazing residents, dedicated caring staff, and an overall feeling of home. The community works to let their residents age in place with their assisted living, early onset dementia care, and more advanced dementia care. The ability to bring hospice into the community helps keep residents comfortable in their home surrounded by the nurses and caregivers that know them best. It’s truly an honor to be a part of this one of a kind community!

We moved my mom to The Summit of Edgewood several months ago after a hosptal stay and doctors said it wasn't safe for her to live alone. The staff at The Summit helped to ensure a smooth transition not only for mom but for our family. The staff are respectful, friendly, caring and loving. The activities staff does a great job offering fun activities that help keep her socially, spiritually, mentally and physically engaged. Knowing that the nurses and caregivers are checking on her often and assisting her when she needs it, helps us not worry as much . My family and I feel blessed that mom is in a safe, supportive and loving environment.
