Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Sunday and my tires were low. I tried going to self serve at Kroger but terrible machine! I saw this Vavoline was open. They pulled me in and I explained I didn’t need oil change just air in all 4 tires. The tech was so nice. Would not accept money and filled tires.

Service and courtesy always at the highest level and work is extremely professional. I go nowhere but the Edgewood, KY Valvoline. A kudos should go to Managers' Phil and Matt at the 19 Edgewood Rd, Edgewood, KY location. Always extremely professional. Thanks

The guy running the computer was great, but the tech is an absolute idiot. After getting an oil change, all of my valve stem caps were loose, and one of them flew off on the highway on the way home. These aren’t the .50 cent cheapo caps, they’re the aluminum Bronco logo caps. This oil change is going to cost me $20 extra for a new set of valve stem caps because of an incompetent technician. More importantly, if a tech can’t even put valve caps on correctly, do you really want them changing your oil, which your entire engine depends on????

The fellas there were pleasant. Their communication to each other on tasks being done was great. I asked questions I got answers. I asked if old ladies with AAA get a discount, and sure enough it paid to ask.

I asked for oil and filter change only and to top off my washer fluid and air tires to 37 psi. They started hooking something up to my battery and I had to stop them. The circuitry and computer systems on cars today is very sensitive. Unless you are having problems with those systems dont ever let someone hook up to them unless they are ASE mechanics. They can short your systems in a second. Oil change technicians are not mechanics. They should honor the request of customers. I have valid reasons. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
