Thrifty Car Rental

I walked up to the counter and the ladies working were so kind and patient, even though it was two days before Christmas. I had reserved the compact managers choice, and I'm not sure if the Tucson is considered compact, but it sure was nice and roomy for my three person family. They worked to get everyone in and out quickly. I had read instances of Thrifty charging for things that didn't happen, or recouping deposits, but I had the best experience. Even turn in was super smooth and efficient. We will rent from Thrifty in the future! Thank you!

I rented a car in Savannah. The car was not cleaned well...I have pictures! It was cold I was tired and the car was all the way at the end of the lot so I kept the car. I had to put down a $200 deposit which I was told it was for accidentals. The $200 was deducted from my account!!! I was charged $40 for gas when I returned the vehicle on FULL!!! I called from the airport about the gas charges and was told it was a glitch. I called several times the next day no response and the voicemail was full. Filed a fraud report with my Credit Union and Thirfty refunded my Deposit and the charge for Gas. The situation was very frustrating and the employees definitely need better training!!!

Decided to go with Thrifty for my last 2 car rentals to save a few bucks from the big name competitors. The cars were in excellent condition, clean and everything worked as it should. Customer service at pick up and drop off was great. I did have to wait a bit to pick up my vehicle this last time, but the woman at the counter was extremely pleasant and at the counter alone so I waited patiently. She offered a free upgrade for the wait and I was out the door in no time. Thanks, Thrify!

We’ve been waiting for two hours now after they’ve taken our money for a car. No communication, no updates no one will stay at the counter long enough to just ask for a refund. We will see how long it takes. Communication goes a long way we’ve witnessed about 6 folks ahead of us wait two hours and then one lady working the counter gave two people ahead of us keys. Not sure of the process the hang up or even how to cancel and get going. Not how we wanted to start out let one trip away this year. Spend a little extra and go to Avis or enterprise.

I typically use Enterprise due to the company vehicle contract, well I needed to purchase my own rental and chose Thrifty, they didn't disappoint. Was cheaper, nice sized economy vehicle, easy to fill up, excellent customer service. My new go to.
