Thurman's Transmission Services

I went to my mechanic and was quoted 4500 dollars to rebuild my transmission I called Thurman’s transmission and they said 2500 rebuilt and complete job. When I pulled in with my Hummer I expected them to see dollar signs and charge me as much as they can as most shops do when they see my truck . An hour after I dropped it off they called me to say it is fixed and all it needed was a fuse. 120 dollar shop charge. My wife and I thank God for sending us to such an honest man .. we are so thankful. Franklin and Jessie

I was told by another transmission shop that I need a new transmission. I had the transmission replaced with a new unit approximately 100k miles ago. I took it to Thurmans & they found that I had a faulty wiring harness. I went in expecting to come out of pocket for a new transmission but instead they saved me about $2000+ dollars. Its been 9 months now & still no issues. I appreciate the honesty & the ability to actually fix the issue. I will definitely be using Thurmans for anything related to transmission repairs/replacement.

From the first phone call to the last conversation, I was treated like a friend. They were honest and up front about my vehicle. The quote I got was the exact amount I paid upon completion. Exact means down to the penny. They thoroughly explained the problem before they began repairs. As soon as I gave them authorization they started rebuilding my transmission. 3 short days later I was back in the saddle again. I felt the difference immediately! Took my vehicle here to have a diagnostic and the shop recommended a service. I went ahead and let them do the work only for the recommended service to not fix the problem. They then suggested replacing something in the transmission at an additional cost but I refused to let them do anymore work. 2 days later my vehicle started leaking transmission fluid. I reached out to the shop and of course they claim it's nothing they did to cause the problem but yet the problem didn't exist prior to me bringing it here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because instead of fixing issues, they are creating additional problems for customers in an attempt to make more $$.
