Toby Ramos Tires

After years of being a loyal customer. My last experience here was extremely disappointing and unsafe. After their service, the tires came off my truck while driving, forcing me to get it towed and costing me additional time and money. Another mechanic inspected the damage and confirmed that the lug nuts had been over-torqued, which caused the wheel failure. This situation was extremely dangerous and could have seriously injured my employee, or someone else on the road. The owner told me he would compensate me, but when it came time to follow through, he didn’t. To make matters worse, I even received a message from him threatening to sue me if I shared my experience. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the issue, I felt intimidated and dismissed. We called needing a tire, they sent a nice guy out who 1000% assured us that there was nothing wrong and we did not need a tire. We double and triple verified with both the mobile rep and with the owner of the company who both assured us there was no problem and that if they did have to come back there wouldn't be a charge... not even 10 miles on the road and we had a blow out of the tire we were concerned about... which then also effected the adjacent tire as well as the fender. We called back not looking for a deal but just to get 2 new tires, instead we were met with an attitude a twisted perspective and accusations that were not at all accurate. WOW!! My technician was stranded with a flat tire all the way in Lakeside and these guys were so quick to help. Super friendly service from James & Emily, they made it so simple. I can't say enough about the efficiency and friendly service I received.. Thank you!
