TowBoatU.S. Lake Tahoe

Our pontoon boat ran out of gas in the middle of Lake Tahoe during one of the worst storms the area has seen. With 8-foot swells and high winds, our group of 11 was absolutely terrified. We called every emergency service we could think of, and USBoat Tow Tahoe was the first to respond. Despite the extremely dangerous conditions, they located us as quickly as possible, got us hooked up, and began the tow. Watching both boats get tossed around in the waves, it was clear everyone was at risk—but they never gave up. Even when the tow line ripped off and we had to find a new anchor point mid-storm, they stayed calm and determined. Honestly, they saved our lives. We’re beyond grateful. Thank you so much.

I’ve (unfortunately) needed Jaime’s help twice in the last 12 years on Lake Tahoe—and let me tell you, there’s nobody you’d rather have coming to your rescue. Jaime is more than just a talented mariner—he’s a courageous, no-BS skipper who puts himself on the line when others are running for cover. During the fatal June 2025 storm, he was 5 miles off Sugar Pine, in the thick of it, surfing his serious rescue vessel down 8–10 foot waves, nearly capsizing multiple times just to reach a stranded bachelorette party on a pontoon boat that had run out of gas. That’s not a story—it’s folklore in the making. Today’s call was a much simpler mechanical issue, but the response, professionalism, and steady presence were exactly the same.

Jaime saved our boat! Came immediately when we called and it’s already getting fixed at our marina. Highly recommend. Also took photos to help us with the insurance claim. Not his first rodeo 👍👌

Posting on behalf of a family member... After our (unmanned) boat broke loose from its mooring, TowBoatUS LakeTahoe was called in for the rescue. Jamie was able to retrieve it under some pretty treacherous conditions (high winds & waves) and tow it back to the marina safe and sound. He was on scene quickly, professional, and kept us updated during the entire process. Jamie, you're awesome-thanks again for the save!

Jaime was responsive to our all, showed up when he said he would, and brought our power boat off the bottom efficiently and we were very impressed with his service. We highly recommend him.
