Townline Garage

I called around 1pm yesterday because I had a nail in my tire. I had already called so many shops who were too busy to take me. Townline had a full day of appointments and they were totally booked, but they made time for me because they knew it was an emergency! Out of the many shops I called this was the only shop who considered my situation and made the time for me. Not to mention it was already late in the day when I called. I will recommend Townline to everyone! Not only an excellent business, but considerate people!

Have been taking my car to the dealership for work (expensive) and thought I’d try this place, closer to home. My car was inspected and passed at the dealership end of January and the notes they left for me to fix next visit were front brake pads were getting low and exhaust. I came here for the break pads and ended up getting charged $1,113!!!! First they said my brakes look fine but then they called back because they can’t find my lug nut key to get in so they had to manually take a lug off each tire and replace them with regular lug nut. That cost $100… Then they said I needed to do front pads plus rotors and calipers?! They also told me it would be around $700 and when I went in the bill was $1,113… Just surprised a big money grab dealership wouldn’t have put all that work in my inspec

I highly recommend Townline Garage in the village of Honeoye Falls. I had my car inspection completed here in February. Scheduling a day which was convenient for me was easy. Upon arriving I was greeted by the nicest man named Brian. I was very impressed with the waiting room. It was very clean & welcoming. My inspection was done promptly. In cashing out I had the nicest conversation with Brian who explained he once owned the garage. Now his Son does & he works part time. Our conversation was the bright spot to my morning!! Townline Garage is conveniently located in the village. It offers prompt service as well as a very welcoming environment. Thank you Brian for making me smile as I left your garage. I will definitely see you again! I highly recommend Townline Garage!!

Terrible experiences here. They have been rude to my mother who tried calling to see when her car was going to he done. “Cant work on the car if your on the phone” should probably hire someone to work the front desk. Had to get a simple inspection and the shop had busted holes in my subframe that had been rusted. Wish I had proof but the shop that inspected the car a couple months prior to me buying the car said the holes were not there and no mechanic should put holes in your car. Pretty shady spot Would not recommend.

While out driving around, I heard a thumping in my tires. I pulled into Townline Garage and checked them myself but didn't see anything. A block or so down the road, I heard it again. So I pulled back in and asked if they could check my tires for me. He did and he found a piece of metal in my tire. He said he would try to plug it but wasn't sure it would work. Note: I did not have an appointment AND it was just before closing time! He was able to plug my tire!!! I was so grateful for his help!!! Great service and empathy for my situation!! Thank you, thank you!!!
