Took the car in for diagnostics for a persistent problem, took over four hours to get an outrageous quote, and the car was retuned with a wire sticking out preventing door closure and requiring a second visit the following day.

Santa Cruz Toyota Service parts department is the worst experienced. I called them no answer. No call back if they had a part in stock. So I drove 35 minutes to get to them finding out they don’t have the car part in stock. I was very annoyed and trying to avoid driving all the way over there.

Just say no to the Toyota Care Plus scam. They make tons of promises like a car wash and shuttle service that they don't provide. An oil change takes most of the day and is so inconvenient if you don't live close by.

Toyota Santa Cruz was the dealership that Costco associates with for new car sales. I got a good deal without a mark up. I told them what car I wanted and one came in way ahead of time from what they told me. I worked with Bob to initiate the paperwork prior to it arriving. Once in, I had to complete the paperwork. Bob assisted me in setting up my account with Toyota using the car's smart screen and Alexis from Toyota assisted us. We got past the few glitches we ran into and my account was active. I was handed the keys. Driving the car home felt similar to the 2012 Camry I have now. I'll be learning about the car for weeks to come and hope to have it for years and years.
