Traditions of Hershey

My mom has lived at Traditions for three years. She began in independent living and transitioned to personal care about 6 months ago as her Parkinson’s has progressed. My mom and my family love Traditions Of Hershey. Mom has made wonderful friends here and there are so many activities. She is busy all the time! From exercise to bingo to card games to regularly scheduled entertainment, they truly make this place a home! Furthermore, and more importantly, the staff is so attentive to the needs of the residents. The administrators are very organized and have an open line of communication with family members. Although I love close by, I am able to rest easy knowing that she is well taken care of.

Traditions of Hershey has been an absolute blessing for our family. When our aging parents needed a safe, secure, pleasant, and accommodating place to live, Traditions became the answer. We toured dozens of facilities, but no other place offered the warm and comforting feeling that Traditions provided. From the moment we step inside, the staff at Traditions feel like FAMILY, and the facility feels like a HOME. Now our parents are thriving in a HOME where they have made new friends, participate in fun events and activities, and most importantly, feel safe, secure, and loved. My parents moved into Traditions about 2 years ago and quickly felt at home. When my father passed away earlier this year, it was such a blessing to know that my mother was in a safe and secure environment with caring and thoughtful staff.

Moving into Traditions of Hershey was a very easy transition. The folks working at Traditions of Hershey have welcomed my parents with open arms. Everyone from the director of the facility, sales and marketing, food service, and maintenance all presented and continue to provide and maintain a professional, helpful, and welcoming spirit. Any potential issues have been met with a positive attitude of “How can we help.” While everything has been fantastic from the first day we entered the facility, they continue to look for suggestions on how to improve. The family atmosphere is very apparent, as they are friendly and genuine in everything they do.
