TransChicago in Shorewood needs to improve their communication, especially in the service department. The service guys are not very responsive, and it’s difficult to get clear updates or follow-ups about your truck. A little more transparency and better communication with customers would make a big difference.

Extremely overpriced, and on The Verge of fraudulent operation. I've been here 8 hours because they don't take credit cards here. Under no circumstances. Should you ever come to this freightliner facility?

Working with Transchicago at the Shorewood location is always a pleasure! Ordering parts from Micheal is easy! He makes it so flawless, and parts are always here on time. Then there is Nick, he’s the greatest parts driver, always has a smile on his face, making sure parts are correct before even leaving. Keep up the awesome work!!!

This is the worst shop in the Freightliner system. Our truck was there 8 days for a CPC replacement two air tank straps and a coolant line replacement. Which only takes 6 to 8 hours. The communication at this place is the worst I have ever seen in my 32 years as a Freightliner customer. I have been buying Freightliner trucks since 1994 and have never dealt with a more incompetent shop ever. They don't care about the customer, they only care about the amount of billable hours. My drivers said that other drivers have been waiting over two weeks to get fixed. Run from this place as a TA or Lowes shop is better and cheaper than this place.

Would not recommend getting anything serviced here. Took a box truck in for service, has been there for over a month between multiple mistakes ordering parts, lack of certified techs, subpar communication throughout the process, and overpriced final bill. This has been one of the most painful experiences I’ve had with a service shop. 5k later, went to pick up the truck and it drove off their lot with the same issue it came in with.
