Truck Center Companies-Mankato

Took truck in on Thursday for Friday appointment. Didn't hear anything on Friday. Monday went to pick up. They had not done anything to it. Had not plugged truck in. Had to change filters. Driver waited 2 hours and no communication besides be done right away. He left. I called next day and they said it was done right after he left. No communication, no hurry attitude, and didn't do anything day of appointment. Won't be going back for our trucks. Maybe use to big fleets and can have trucks for days to work on them.

I recently need my driveshafts on my semi gone through and balanced. After not having good luck and terrible communication with another local company in Mankato, I found out truck center offers that service. The communication for one, was on point and the tech who does the balance work was phenomenal. I had never had balance work done before and asked him multiple questions how and what goes into the process. Not once did he seem annoyed or act like I was taking too much of his time. As far as the office staff that I delt with, the two women were extremely helpful and nice to chat with. Again, their communication throughout the process was superb as well. What a joke of a dealership. I get there at 7am to get my truck fixed on a problem I told them the day before. The tech takes my truck for a test drive and looks at it for a Total of almost 2 hours. By 1030 I get an estimate for repairs and give them the ok. By 1045 they tell me they can't do it because the tech is leaving work at 12pm. By 1230 they are fixing to give me an invoice for over 300 bucks. ( no repairs have been made 5 hours later) 1pm, there telling me the rech can fix it tomorrow by noon. I make a hotel reservation for that night. 10 minutes later, there telling me they need the whole day and they might not even get to it the next day. 130pm. I can't get my reservation canceled by hotel now. 145pm. I talked to the general manager and he informed me that the

Justin at the service department was outstanding! Our experience at this location exceeded expectations. Although we encountered a few minor delays due to parts availability, Justin handled everything efficiently — even after we had already left the location. We had our preventative maintenance service completed, and everything went smoothly. We’re very excited and definitely looking forward to purchasing our next truck from them.

I've been here several times. The service department is very friendly and they have been available to get fixed in a timely manner.
