Tsunami Express Car Wash

Like many others have said, Take 5 was great—Tsunami has been terrible. I’m not sure why they decided to move away from the windshield sticker system and switch to license plate readers. They’ve managed to turn something that was working smoothly into a complete mess. I was a Take 5 member for nearly two years and never had a single issue. As soon as Tsunami took over, it’s been nothing but problems. It started with not being able to register as a returning customer, even though I clearly was. I was then told to sign up through the app, only to discover that the monthly price had gone up considerably. As mentioned by others, both lanes need to be open. This place is never operational when I go there. I haven't been able to wash or vacuum my car in about two weeks. The associates always blame it on the weather. They state that whenever water gets in the vacuum system the breaker trips and the vacuum shuts down. When I went in to ask about it one time they flipped the breaker and the system started working again. So they know it happens but no one bothers to go back to reset the breaker. Once another option opens up around here these guys are finished.

For the top $27 wash It'll clean the dust off your car and that's about it. I have 19" wheels on a lowered car and it still only hit the top half of the tires with any sort of cleaner or shine. Bugs/poos, literally anything stickier than dust will remain. Really just for older people that already have a basically new car or don't care what they get out of it. Just a simple reminder you might as well sweat and keep doing it yourself👍 Try a different one.

Always seems that something is broken like their washing machine for the towels, vacuum filters are clogged or one of the wash features is acting up. Lately, the Member Lane has been closed since the acquisition (about a month).

Tsunami now runs Take 5 Express Car Wash. Today, I got a really bad car wash at the Sunbury spot. Even though I have a membership, they sent me to the non-membership lane it is never available. The first time I went through the wash, there was no soap on my car at all. I tried again, but it was the same thing, plus no express drying and less water used. It was super confusing. Then I tried to use the vacuum, but it didn't work, and the three cars before me had the same problem. So I asked to talk to someone. They told me Jake is the manager, and when I asked about the owner, they said Jake again. I told him there was no soap on my car.
