We brought our car in for only one reason to pass deq. $1300 later , still can't pass deq A week and a half of waiting, they replaced a valve cover gasket, serpentine belt and was told a bad pin on the mass air flow sensor/ new mass air flow sensor. Car shows 3 monitors incomplete and won't pass deq. I did a drive cycle twice just to double check. Yes , I did the drive cycle not uncle Al's. Mass air flow too low. Pointless waist of our time. $1300 ??? We feel totally scammed Also, when we picked up the car. We had to wait out side got keys passed to us through a window, left hanging because they were to busy to deal with paying customers. I highly recommend taking all mechanical services to anywhere but uncle Al's automotive service.

AL is personable, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of his business. Highly recommended. Remember, it is a small shop, but very up to date. It might take a little longer, but it is quality work at a good price.

Uncle Al's Automotive Services is great. Our family had a personal emergency where we are going to travel across the U.S. during winter and we needed to have our vehicle inspected before we hit the road. Even though Uncle Al was busy, he was very kind to squeeze us in. He learned we needed front brakes. I told Uncle Al, I have gone to several mechanics and mentioned to them, I felt something was wrong with the brakes but the mechanics that I visited in the past, could never find anything wrong.
