I showed up for an oil change and was told they were out of filters for my particular vehicle because they used the last filter earlier in the day but that I could go and grab a filter from down the street at AutoZone and they would be able to do the oil change. I went and got the filter and came back and when they were processing my payment I asked if they would be subtracting the price of the oil filter and was told "NO". It would have been really nice to know that BEFORE running around and spending the extra money on the filter PLUS the cost of the oil change because I would've gone elsewhere.
