To Victory Auto Group Corporate Leadership: I am writing to formally document an extremely serious and unacceptable service failure at the Victory Auto Group dealership in Merrillville, IN. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, and it was returned to me with no oil in the engine. I am currently 38+ weeks pregnant, and this truck is the only vehicle my family uses to transport myself, my husband, and our 2-year-old. The fact that we drove off the service lot in a vehicle without oil — which could have resulted in catastrophic engine damage or complete failure — is not only unacceptable, it is dangerous. I called this place to get my bill of sale record from a dealership they used to own that is no longer in business. They said it could take 4-6 weeks to obtain (ridiculous anyway) but when I called on the 5th week there was no update or even status or apology. I was waiting because our insurance couldn’t total out our car until they had this. 3 days after that last call I got a call from a 3rd party they had asked for help who said this was the first he heard of it which means they were CLEARLY not doing anything for 5 weeks and giving me the runaround. They’ve held up our claim for a month and half and never had the balls to even call back. Don’t buy any car from this group’s dealership.

We bought a new Honda Passport at Victory Honda in Michigan City today. Our sales representative, Tori , did an excellent job. She showed us several different vehicles and stayed patient and professional throughout the process. Like any car buying experience there were things I liked and didn’t like but the totality of the experience was very positive.

I have had the worst experience buying a car with this company. I bought the car May 22, 2024 was given no paperwork with the car (no bill of sale, no warranty information, etc.), left the dealership not knowing who financed my car. Had to take my Jeep back the next day for an oil change and to have an inspection sticker put on it. Called to make an appointment with the service department and had to wait several weeks to be seen, which is fine places are busy, just to be told they checked my oil hear a rattle but don’t know what it is and that I needed to take it somewhere else. So I call the Jeep dealership wait a couple more weeks to be told it my exhaust and to leave it one more day so another technician could drive it. As soon as I met the sales representative Hanan Hider she was excellent host to providing me with the best information about the cars to make my first car purchase. And when I was handed off the the most coolest guy in finance which is James he made the final touches in sale sale feel like I was talking to family. And when we had little concerns the Gm Banos was more then reliable to put our minds at ease. So I highly recommend coming here for your car purchase!!!
