Village Car Wash

Well I've been using this car wash for years. I just went and it looks like they turned the pressure down. My guess is the Sun or whoever the new owner is. Didn't want to keep paying the water bill like Rick was paying and they decided to just cut the pressure to cut down on how much water they're using. It's absolutely awful now. Takes forever to wash a car. I won't go back. Waste of time and money. Get off your wallet and make it like it was please

Not usually a huge review guy but this place has frustrated me to no end. Their washing bays are terrible. Solely coin operated, not nearly enough time given, and it seems like the various washing modes never work. The one on M72 is far better than this one (and that’s saying a lot because their bays are also not great, but at least they take credit card and work, for the most part).

Had a wonderful experience here the other week. I was inbetween clients and had some time and wanted to get my car cleaned. The automatic car wash was not operating when I arrived and asked the owner if the manual washing spots would take credit cards. I had no cash on me and he told me to pull into one. I pulled in and he said I turned it on go ahead and wash your car! I asked if there was anyway I could pay with my card in his office. he said it was fine. So sweet,thank you so much!

Not a bad little car wash. In the bay I chose, everything worked. The center bay is out of order. Loud beeper is present, so you know to add quarters before time ends.

Stopped in after a 2 hr drive to our campground. Excited to wash the dirt off our vehicle while enjoying downtown Elk Rapids. HORRIBLE!!! I could have cleaned this truck cheaper and more efficient than this place ever could. The beeper kept going off after less than 1 minute. Your coins do NOT last long at all here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The chemicals do not come out of the brushes and sprayer in a timely manner so your spending your time waiting for the start of what you picked. Left the carwash still dirty. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Rip off for sure.
