Beware : The car was in the shop for a simple replacement of a Crane ignition box. They used a XT1 replacement. They had previously rebuilt the carb and recommended a manual choke. The car never ran properly after that. It was towed 4 times back to their shop after that.. The final bill was 3500.00 dollars with only 200.00 worth of parts. The car never made it home. It would not run. This in a 1977 MGB with 22000 miles. I had driven the car from Louisville, Ky. to McHenry, Il. 6 months earlier. When the car failed to make it home after the erroneous repair. His reply was " What do you want me to do ? " They are incompetent and are unscrupulous !
