VIP Auto Service Center

My daughter, wife, and I flew into town to get her back for college. The car was left in a gravel lot for 14 weeks. Long story short, mice had chewed a grounding wire from a wiring harness into the block that left the car not only undrivable but rear wheels locked with the electronic parking brake. I called VIP and spoke to Gail about our situation. She kindly offered to have Ken come out on his lunch break and take a look. That’s so rare these day and so kind to even offer. I was able to identify the ground wire issue and do a chewing gum and band aid repair to get it rolling. Took it to Walsh’s to do a proper repair today. Ken made it a real wiring repair and wouldn’t even let my daughter pay him! Are you kidding me?!?! In this day and age where you can’t find anyone to do good work no

Wonderful customer service! Very honest and reliable service! I am SO glad I found this shop, after being horribly disappointed by our old local shop. I'm always put in a good mood when I call in, and when I drop off our vehicles. Thank you, Damon!...Even when I fear the cost of repairs. Sometimes the shop pups are there, and offer wonderful emotional support too!...Needed that today. <3 They sometimes are booked up for a bit, because they are that good. Worth the wait, if you can.

The Good: Damon is excellent—communicative, transparent, and thorough. The Bad: Scheduling with VIP means waiting about a week for an appointment. You drop off your car on time, expecting things to move along. Instead, it sits for nearly two days without an update. When you call, you’re told it’s “next in line”—but then it doesn’t go in. Eventually, the response becomes predictable: “We don’t know when we’ll get to it.” I understand that delays happen, but three times? That’s a pattern, not a fluke. Yes, they’re the best mechanics in Purcellville—I’ve tried them all. But when it comes to proactive communication, they’re the worst. Customers who schedule in advance, provide clear details, and arrive on time should expect a reasonable level of predictability in return. Unfortunately, VIP

I love these guys from Damon at the front desk to The Mastermind Ken I could not have taken my car to a better place. I've lived in the area for over 10 years and this was my first time going to them. From now on I will continue to go to them. The respect and care they have for their customers is completely unmatched.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! They were able to squeeze me in for an inspection - Ken is super personable! Thank you!
