Walmart Auto Care Center

Been coming to this location for years and I've never had any issue with an oil change or a set of new tires. I understand that it does take time to get Services done and I also understand that there's people in front of me which prolongs my visit to this location. I will not complain about a long wait especially if there's five cars in front of me. On average it takes 20 minutes to do an oil change so if there's 5 cars in front of me there's an hour and a half of waiting right there. But then again it all depends on how many techs they have working in the shop when I show up for service. The pricing is the absolute best as no other shop in the area can compare to the pricing that Walmart has. This auto center installed the wrong tires on my truck. They did remove them and installed 3 out of 4 of the right tires, because the 4th tire was sent to them as the wrong size. Their heart was in the right place, but the system doesn’t work here.

Trained and knowledgeable mechanics, overall professional and courteous staff. The price for 2 tires was over $200 less than what the dealer quoted me, with the same exact options and tires. The only negative aspect is that Walmart owns the shop, so you're likely to experience long wait times and difficulty getting an appointment. They just need more people working, but Walmart policy is aimed at making more billionaires more money, not making it cheaper and more convenient for consumers.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Walmart Auto Shop. I called multiple times to schedule an appointment for a service and was extremely frustrated that no one ever answered the phone. When I raised this issue I was surprised to find that they didn't seem to be interested in improving the situation. They showed no concern for the inconvenience this was causing customers and seemed content with the current state of affairs.

These guys changed my niece's vehicle oil - they damaged the car to a tune over $600. They refused to acknowledge or make it right. If you just watch these guys work, they are so tough - one way to describe it would be to imagine band of chimpanzees running around destroying things. Stay away from these guys - Walmart at Merritt Island is a lot better
