Walmart Auto Care Center

We blew a camper tire and we were able to get it fixed. The young man who I spoke with on the phone on Friday, July 18,2025 was incredibly helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable. He was able to help me find the right tire and was able to have the tire ready for me even after the department closed. We unfortunately were not able to make it by the time he was off work so we came the next morning. The man working helped get us the tire quickly and was very helpful.

I scheduled an oil change for 9 AM. We showed up on Time, but they made us wait an hour before they started then it took an additional hour and a half When I went to pay, they told me that my check engine light was on but couldn’t tell me what code it was throwing and my battery was bad I paid and then I left. The very next day, my oil started leaking. I ended up having to go to Valvoline In Belton, they checked my battery. It was good and they said that they did not screw my oil filter on correctly and was crossed threaded causing it to leak. I honestly believe Some of the younger employees need further training and some of Walmarts Electronics are outdated or off in general because when I took my car to them, there was no check engine light on there has never been a check engine light o

The auto dept employees were very helpful and friendly. The service was a bit slow, but it appears they did a good job. My car requires more than 5 quarts of oil, so I always buy two 5 at jugs. Every other oil change I use what was left from the previous change. I did not have to remind the service tech to put the partial jug in my trunk. I often have to with the Walmart where I live. I think it's going to be worth the drive to this Walmart.

Every time I go there they always try to push you off. Telling you that you have to wait 6 to 8 hours to get an oil change, but if you go right at 7 AM, you get right in because they have no excuse. This is the worst Walmart. Experience and when you read the reviews, you get what I'm talking about, if you can't fix it. Just get rid of it. Because I can go through a drive up one. Pay the same amount of money and b. E out in 1520 minutes. Maybe you should look into hiring. Good people, not people that don't want to work on cars because, almost every time they push you off unless you walk in as soon as they open.

We had a tire emergency while on a road trip, and the service we got from everyone in the auto department was great. Luckily there were tires in stock for us, and they got to installing them right away. No pushy sales, explained everything, benches to sit on while we waited. Will I drive all the way back here for my next set of tires? We will see.
