Walmart Auto Care Center

We came during our round trip by. We had trouble with the tire pressure system and asked for help. The staff was really friendly, helped us quickly and checked each tire and adjusted the pressure. A special thanks to Cesar who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Afterwards we could continue our trip.

The best time I’ve ever been, these guys took care of me greatly and got me back rolling quickly Carlos and Haden !! Ask for them and you’ll have the best customer service.

I shredded some tires on a rental out in the desert. No way to safely drive anywhere and it’s Sunday morning. Thankfully, the fellas down at that Mesquite Walmart Auto Care Center give up their Sunday morning so us folks passing though don’t get stuck till Monday when the other shops open. They didn’t get me in quickly, but they told me that upfront. Shorthanded and quite a few appointments. Oh well, I wasn’t going anywhere. They got my tires swapped and balanced and I made it back to SLO County in one piece. Doubtful that would have been the case if I’d had gambled on those old tires.

I call twice about 2 hours before I expect to be in the area to ask if I can do walk-in or need an appointment. Both calls ring for 2-3 minutes and hang up. I then show up around 6:20 with their posted hours saying they close at 7pm, no other customers there. The attendant tells me that only appointments are being handled. I had tried to call earlier and arrange an appointment or time. My overdue car is turned away during business hours. Seriously, no customers or vehicles were in the bay. Maybe the workers were tired and thought no more customers would be coming, so they began to shut down. They turned me away with more than half an hour of business hours left.. not acceptable! But I'll give it a little better than a 1 star.

Got a full synthetic oil change which includes courtesy chassis lube, tire pressure/battery/fluid check etc. I knew my tire pressure was low when I left my house, around 29-30 psi. On the way home the pressure is only 30-31, probably increased due to the warming air temp. The receipt/checklist says they pumped it up to 35 psi. Honestly, I don't think they even touched it. And if they didn't do that, what else didn't they check? Did I even get the full synthetic oil or the cheaper regular oil? I've lost all confidence in them and doubt the management will care or reach out to me to follow up.
