Walmart Auto Care Centers

Unfortunately, I don't plan on ever coming back here again. I had an appointment for a simple tire rotation. They told me 1 hour and to he honest that takes 30 min max but okay i was fine with 1 hour. Somehow that turned into over 3 hours with an appointment. This is unacceptable and highly disappointing. I expected better...

Absolutely horrible experience. In the past. I have given Walmart my business with tire purchases. I have the roadside warranty on all my tires. On my way to work. Last night, I got a flat tire just as I got to work. I put on the spare, drove that home and called Walmart first thing this morning to see if I could get in, purchase a tire and have it put on the rim, and I would simply install it on the car myself assuming they didn't have time since I didn't have an appointment. The person that answered the phone said absolutely, they can get me in with no problem. I drove all the way from my house on a spare tire, brought the bad tire into Walmart so that they can swap it out for me like the kid on the phone said. When I arrived, my guess is the same kid who answered the phone asked me if

I called the main number — no one picked up. Tried the backup number and finally got a person, but they had to transfer me. Then someone else picked up and had to transfer me again. After being bounced around for 5 minutes, I gave up. If you actually need to talk to someone, don’t expect them to answer or make it easy.

Poor service. Slow, argumentative staff, poor quality service. Damaged my rims. Had to argue on price, even though everything is spelled out on the website.

I have had mixed experiences at Walmart Auto Care Centers. However, I have only had satisfactory experiences at the Lake Geneva location. Most recently, there was an issue with a TPS sensor breaking that I supplied. Instead of doubling down on repair costs or trying to skirt the cost of their mistake, employee -Gordon- went out of his way to speak directly to the general manager. He was able to resolve the issue while keeping me, the customer, in mind. He stayed calm and explained all aspects of the solution. I don’t leave reviews often. Way to go Gordon!
