John and his team are the best place for auto repairs. John gave a reasonable price for some extensive repairs and kept us informed of the progress throughout the process. He always checked with us if there were new found problems or changes before going ahead with the work. It was great to have a reputable and honest shop bringing our neglected and older truck back to life! We are very pleased with the repair and highly recommend Welch’s Auto.

I had issue with a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. ESP/Traction Control warning lights. Was tracked down to a possible alignment issue. Replaced bent tie rod. So far so good. John was good keeping me informed. Fair pricing. Would recommend. Scott C.

I moved to this area about four years ago. Welch Automotive was the first place I went when I needed work. I have never gone anywhere else. I trust him. And in this business, THAT is huge. John is so knowledgeable. And he explains things very well, showing pictures of parts and damage involved, etc. He is also great at offering options on parts to save money or to get the best parts possible. I can be a pain. I watch YouTube videos and think I know what I’m talking about. I look up prices, etc. But he is ALWAYS cool and even tempered. I’m 58, and this is the best auto repair shop I’ve ever used. And I’m pretty particular. Just ask John.

My first experience with Welch Automotive. Purchased tires from Tirerack.com and selected Welch as the local installer. Tires arrived in two days and installation appointment on day 3 went as scheduled. John and his friendly dog greeted me upon arrival and got my car in the shop right away. My car rides smoothly so I say the balance and mounting were done competently. Price very reasonable as well. We are new to Franklin and plan to try Welch for repairs and maintenance as well.

EDIT: Once again I reached out to John to replace the tires on another vehicle, my ND2 MX-5 Miata, with performance tires. John gave me an appointment for a few days later and took my vehicle in as soon as I arrived. The car was ready shortly after and road tested for proper installation. Costs was super competitive and using Welch Automotive, I know that the installation is done right.
