Told me it wouldn’t take longer than a week to get my car back and the job shouldn’t have taken longer than 4 hours it took them 4 weeks to get started on my car, they charged me for a wheel cylinder they didn’t actually replace, they zip tied my break lines to my emergency break line, they didn’t adjust my drum breaks correctly which caused my rear break to function improperly and my e brake not to work, they over torqued my lug nuts to the point I can’t remove them by breaker bar, they charged me 40$ more than what the original max price was, They did not properly inspect my vehicle they told me it looked great underneath forgot to mention all my bushing on the front and rear end where bad, after they worked on my car the front suspension gave out now I need new upper and lower co

Broke down the day before Thanksgiving on a road trip. The towing company (Phil's towing) recommended Wilson's and took my truck there. Turns out it was a fuel pump and they got to it in just a couple of days. I was worried how much it would be because let's be honest they had me over a barrel! So very pleasantly surprised when the price was VERY FAIR and it was done lickety split!! It was a terrible way to spend the holiday but Wilson's saved the day by being decent, honest folks (I wish we weren't surprised when it comes to mechanic shops). We need more like them!! I hope I don't break down again but if I do I hope it's in Houghton Lake, I'll take it to Wilson's

I will be honest and say Susie “unknown spelling” was a very sweet woman. My wife took her truck in while I was out of state. It was over heating and said it was a coolant issue. They replaced the water pump claiming that was the issue. Picked it up a week later when it was finally ready, drove it a mile to the shell gas station and it overheated again. They had us bring it back. Almost three weeks later we get it back, new Alternator, water pump, belt, head gaskets and $3,700 later we got it back. Not even a month later, the Durango broke down in the middle of the road. The staff at Muffler man here… all I can say are amazing… stoped traffic and pushed her truck out of the road. Check your fluids before you leave! Went in to have brakes repaired, not a terrible wait time. However when I got home, I realized they never added brake fluid and the reservoir was empty, apparently they didn’t refill the fluid after bleeding the brakes.

I will start by saying the front receptionist is a great person and their dog is adorable. However, the reason this place gets a one star is because of the work they did and then the difficulty in getting get a refund to fix their mistake. The water pump in my truck broke and they were able to squeeze me in same day on 06/04 for a replacement as I was going out of town for vacation. I paid $661.29 for the pump to be replaced, coolant, a new serpentine belt, and labor. It was expensive but the cost of everything has gone up and I would rather support a smaller business. The issue took place the next day. I was thankfully able to make it town state with no issues. However, my truck overheated pretty quickly when I was driving and I had to pull off quickly.
