Stopped in to 131 Truck Sales while passing by. Spoke with Dick, who was polite and helpful even though we stopped after he was closed. Let us look around at trucks without standing over us and putting on a high pressure sale. He answered our questions honestly and let us stay as long as we liked. Had a great experience, this is where I will be going back when I'm in the market again!

Dick Haven and 131 truck sales stole $2000 that I gave them over the phone for a deposit for a truck. When I went to pick up the truck, the truck was completely misrepresented. He actually told me not to buy the truck if I was not going to be happy. Dick Haven promised me a full refund but I never receieved it. He keep telling me for 8 weeks that his daughter was going to send me the check. After several unanswered calls, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, I got a lawyer involved to try and get my money back. My lawyer called Dick and he told my lawyer to take him to court. He knew I lived in New York. He knew that wasn't going to happen because it wasn't worth it for me to fly to Michigan to fight for $2000. Dick Haven and 131 Truck Sales is not a company anyone should do business with! My company purchased a truck from him, along with a warranty. Months later, we started to have a problem with the truck and found out that the warranty was never filed with the warranty company. Several unanswered calls, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and now I have to get a lawyer involved to try and get my money back. 131 Truck Sales hasn't cooperated to try and resolve the issue when they are the ones at fault. Dick Haven and 131 Truck Sales will steal your money!

I dropped in on Dick to look over a truck they had for sale, which had caught my eye while passing on 131, and had a very good experience. He gave me the keys and let my look over the vehicle at my leasure, without interruption. When I was finished, he gave me answers to my questions, and spent a fair amount of time telling me about the vehicle. No sale at the moment, as I'm just trying to get a feel for what's out there. Nice 389 I looked over though. Only dinged the one star due to the truck not starting due to dead batteries. Someone left the refrigerator on....and my own fault for not hearing it run, because the offer was made to jump it.

Great place to buy late model Peterbilts!! Dick knows his equipment. He is very upfront about all his equipment and also helped me with financing at a better rate than I could get.
