AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Todd was amazing!! Great customer service and very knowledgeable. Random lights on my dash. I took my car to Honda CMA and they tried to charge me $5500. I picked my car up from them and it all of a sudden started misfiring. I called AAMCO and Todd helped me on the phone and told me being the car in. He identified the issue and fixed it in 2 days. No more lights and my car is back to normal. Thanks guys?

⚠️ WARNING to future customers! This company held our car for three weeks lying to us, saying our warranty company was dragging their feet that was a total lie. The truth? They were trying to overcharge so they could collect from both us and the warranty company, even though our warranty covers everything! We took our vehicle somewhere else and got the claim approved in one day. Everything moved forward immediately. Meanwhile, this place wasted our time and took our diagnostic fee for absolutely nothing. Do yourself a favor don’t trust this shop. They play games, make excuses, and care more about money than their customers. Be honest with people, don’t cheat them! Chargin 10k plus for a repair

So I had my truck towed to this location on Sept 19th, and we paid for diagnostic $150 and it came back to have transmission issues and would need to rebuild or replace which we knew given the ca history anyways. However we were using our warranty to get it fixed and it took them 3 weeks to even start a claim and the only started it that day 3 weeks later because we said we were going to just get our car moved and take our services elsewhere. During that 3 weeks time I called almost everyday to the warranty company to see if a claim was even started , mind you I did this because when I spoke with AAMCO the guy instantly told me since you are working with a warranty it may take a month which was suspicious but considering they didn’t start the claim until 3 weeks later would explain that. E

I took my 1996 Chevy Astro van to AAMCO for a diagnostic to verify whether my transmission had been properly rebuilt by another shop. What should have been a straightforward service turned into a frustrating and unacceptable experience. After waiting an unusually long time—over a week—for a diagnostic, I called for an update. The next day, I received a call from an employee asking if my back window was shattered when I brought the van in. It absolutely wasn’t. Later, the owner, Sean, called me to ask the same question, claiming a rock must have hit the window. When I went to inspect the van, I found that the back window had been shattered from the inside while under their care. Sean eventually fixed the back window but told me it was more than he was "obligated" to do, which felt dismiss

I recently had the pleasure of visiting AAMCO Total Car Care, and I can't give them anything less than five stars! The customer service was outstanding; the staff were friendly and welcoming, making my experience all the more pleasant. They handled my car issues efficiently and completed the job well. Additionally, the prices were reasonable, providing great value for the quality of service. I highly recommend AAMCO Total Car Care to anyone in need of reliable car maintenance!
