AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

These people are bold face liars cannot believe they will tell a customer there transmission is bad and runs perfectly fine really hard to believe oh and these transmissions are not available and I can get one in a day so wild to believe also Randy cook is the one who sent the truck out and now it’s pouring fluid everywhere they don’t honor the work either paid 860 bucks and fluid is everywhere let’s get this place shut down

Took one of our trucks in due to they had previously replaced the transmission and I was concerned about leaking and some noises. They charged a premium to replace motor and transmission mounts (I wasn't involved in the original transaction, so not sure why the mounts weren't addressed when the transmission was replaced). They did get the mounts changed and all would have been ok except that while they had the vehicle it suddenly wouldn't start anymore (we hadn't had any problems with it starting) and they quoted us several thousand dollars to replace the starter and ECM, Neither of which actually needed replaced. Back in August, I had my vehicle towed to Aamco to see what was wrong with my Transmission. At first, I was happy with my service. I was not happy that I needed a new transmission, but I felt that they were very upfront and honest with me. They kept my vehicle there and ordered a Transmission. I called every couple days to check in, and I found out after the first day. The guy never even ordered the transmission. And then he lost the Transmission as it was already sold and had to find another one. In the end, I ended up getting a new transmission for a decent price however, everything spiraled out of control. I've been so pissed off, I haven't been on here to change my review. After several months, I've cooled off enough to try this...I had taken my Jeep in to get a routine service done. Fluid and filter change on the transmission. I get my car back, and start having MAJOR issues within days. I decided to take it to another transmission shop, where they thoroughly check my car out. No codes, no leaks, everything looks great on the outside. After giving my permission for them to check the fluid, thinking Aamco may have put the wrong type of fluid in it, they drained and measured my tranny fluid. Come to find out, Aamco left it 2 quarts low on fluid!! Needless to say, my filter and fluid was full of metal. So, thanks to Aamcos incompetence, I had the not so pleasure of having to fork out another

Randy was very professional and helpful. If he didn't know an answer regarding my vehicle he spoke with the technician that worked on it. Thank you Randy and all the Aamco staff for being helpful in the time of our need.
