AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

We had the worst experience with this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. On 09/18 we called this place after it was recommended by another mechanic. We spoke with Johnny and he told us they were pretty busy, but we could drop the car off and they would squeeze it in. When we dropped our car off they were transparent that they probably wouldn’t get to it until Monday 09/22. We understood and didn’t have an issue with that so we went on our way expecting to hear from AAMCO in a few days. A week goes by and on 09/25 we call and speak to Johnny and he tells us that they weren’t able to get to the car because they had a few jobs that took longer than expected. We understood and continued to wait. Flash forward to 10/06 and we call AAMCO again to get an update and no one answered the p

I dropped off my truck on the way to the airport on a Tuesday and told the shop I’d be back on Saturday. Needed a transmission service and an overhaul of the transfer case. Fast forward to Friday and the needed part for the transfer case had not come in. The owner drove to the warehouse to pickup the part Friday afternoon and the shop worked late, after they typically close, to make sure the truck would be ready for me when I got back into town. This is the definition of customer service. It would’ve been easy to have called me to tell me the truck wouldn’t be ready until Monday, but Johnny and his guys put in the extra effort to do right by me. Excellent communication and top shelf service.

Johnny and Fred are friendly, caring and communicate well. The work was reasonably priced and completed as estimated. Great folks to get a transmission or suspension problem taken care of.

They got me in the next day had the car done quickly. Reasonable pricing and Johnny was friendly informative, and kept me posted throughout the whole thing. Had transmission pan replaced, and fluids flushed replaced. I had a very great experience with them a Would recommend😍 Thanks, Johnny and the guys at AAMCO. Have a good day. Be blessed.
