Advance Auto Parts

I've bought 2 things from this store, and it was the same item both times because the part lasted 2 months (not really Advance's fault, I'll do a review on their page for that part). First time when ordering the part I needed before a 700mi trip the upcoming weekend and I called them. They said 'we can have that tomorrow' when it was 8:30pm. I made sure they knew what time it was and they reassured me. When I called at 5pm the following day after work they told me they don't have it (expected that). When I called the next day, they still didn't have it. So the 3rd day it came in. When this part broke 2 mo later they honored their limited lifetime warranty but told me they didn't see it in the system. Their servers went down and lost my info. Advance Auto is my go to place for car parts. They have a location that is fairly close to my house and another that is close to my business in Coralville. Its nice being able to walk to the location if I need a part when I am in the middle of working on my car. I ALWAYS buy online before going to the store to get the best price.

Went in & got service right away- sold me a good battery & installed it for me!! Amazing customer service, patient, kind, and explained everything very well I appreciate all they did for us! Will go back again for sure!!

I’ve called 3 times in the past week to order a part or check availability. The people I’ve talked to act like they don’t want to do their job and treat you like a nuisance for calling. I know exactly what I need, I have a part number but damn you can’t please those sassy guys. Answering calls/ attitude training much needed.

I visited Marion Advance Auto because I needed the battery replaced in my vehicle. The staff assisting me were knowledgeable and very friendly. They were able to test my vehicle's battery and quickly change it out for me. Great service.
